KORONA POS in bakery trade

As bakeries always have to offer fresh bread, cakes and pastries, a control of the flow of goods is of central importance. With the help of KORONA POS bakeries with branches control their flows of goods and consequently, keep their overview over orders, statistics of articles and the stock in the same way as over the stock management.

You can deposit customer specific details, like e.g. addresses, for the purpose of a better management of regular or commercial customers that requires less time or energy.

It is possible to arrange easily the articles on the operator panel with the help of various selection screens. This allows a faster locating of desired articles. You can save certain information about ingredients for every article. By this inexperienced personnel is able to give detailed information, too.

Written and telephonic orders have been dropped because the cash points are able to place orders in a central bakery. Provided that you use baking software, already existing orders can be transmitted to all POS. The personnel decide depending on the turnover how many of the existing orders are really needed. This saves time and work.

You can determine other price rails for special products, e.g. the prices of bread from the previous day and of a fresh one can be different. Or you charge less money for bread, cakes and pastries before closing time to sell remaining stocks. It is possible to determine a period of time in which the product is sold for another price. After the end of this limit, the standard price is charged.
