KORONA.pos POS for the beverage trade

KORONA permits a trouble-free operation in distributed branches of beverage trades because of its polished system architecture. Branches can be equipped with one or more POS. The system supports the simultaneous recording of full bottles, empties and combined cases. The cash points are able to hand over open bills among themselves. By this it is possible to accept empties at separate deposit cash desks without cash. The open system interfaces offer an optimal possibility to link e.g. machines for empties.

Branches are connected by the Internet, because of that the distance between branches or between branch and head office is completely irrelevant. There are two possibilities of transferring data:

a) The data is transferred immediately to the server; that means directly after money taking. Consequently, current figures are always available to the head office. Extensive evaluations can be made permanently and lively. In the same time modifications of master data like price adaptations, modifications of the slip layout or the like take effect on the POS. This option is particularly recommended if using Internet flat rates (like e.g. T-DSL).

b) The data transfer is set manually, e.g. after office closing time or after change of shifts. Under this condition, booking data and modifications of master data are available after the end of this action. 

In case of troubles with the Internet access in one or more branches, the data is kept in the POS until the interferences are cleared. A possible necessary remote maintenance (e.g. for regular system checks or to load updates) is effected via Internet. Normally you can go on collecting money during the remote maintenance procedure.

The integration of the latest technology allows the access to the data via Internet with the highest reliability. Under such circumstances, it is comfortable to draw up reports for evaluations or to maintain master data from different places. By the use of the latest Internet technologies the kind of operating system you are using is completely unimportant. A customary Internet browser is simply needed.
